“I followed all the guidelines. Purchased recommended spreader, fertiliser, top dressing, scarified lawn and rollered over seed after sowing. It rained a few hours after and I spent next two weeks watering every evening. Stopped feeding wild birds to discourage pigeons. Possibly only 20% germination. Will have to try again in spring time. The only real benefit is the existing grass looks good probably due to the fertiliser. My score is low because I’m very disappointed after all the hard work put in. Did I do something wrong?!”

“Used this seed after treating and taking out moss from existing lawn which left large bare patches. Covered seed with top soil. Been 4 weeks and results are mixed. Whilst some patches are starting to thicken, others remain bare and I’ve had to reseed. Time will tell.”
