“Most of this took very well but I would stay about 10% didnt. Difficult to say whether it the seed or whether it was areas where I hadn't scarified the area well enough. Looked a quality product so probably my prep”

It’s quite possible that the few thinner areas were due to soil preparation rather than the seed itself, as proper contact with loosened soil is key for successful germination. This can be rectified by some overseeding when the conditions are more favourable. ☀️🍃
