“Reseeded my small lawn with shadygreen last year after most of it had been eaten by leatherjackets. I treated the area with nemotodes and the lawn was healthy at the end of last summer. It has now become very thin and sparse over winter and needs reseeding. I will try this with the new seed I have bought and will see if that will work. At the moment I am unimpressed.”
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for grass to become thin and sparse over winter, factors such as prolonged wet weather, frost, shade, soil conditions and drainage can contribute to thinning, as well as the soil lacking nutrients.
