“Used this for first time, have only used the late autumn one before. so this is my 2nd purchase from Lawnsmith. I had previously used of the shelf supermarket buys, however havin "burnt" my grass I went to the internet and found lawnsmiths. I answered a few q's online in early march expecting to get some rccomendation for their early spring feed but it came up with the Winter feed. I was surprised however it has worked really well, the moss on the grass has blackened and now I have scarified it out. The higher Iron content in the winter feed did this, so didn't have to purchase a moss killer. Slow release so won't make mistake of burning grass. So far so good my grass is showing really good signs of improvement with the last 2 feeds”
“I have just purchased this Winter Green product and have applied it to my lawn within the last week.
The effect of the product will not be apparent for some months, obviously, so it is too soon to give any useful feedback now. Ask me again in 3-4 months and I can give you more meaningful feedback.
One minor point - I applied the product with my roller spreader which has a variable aperture size, but there is no guidance with the product on what is the optimal setting to use. Can you give any advice.

Brilliant stuff, it keeps the lawns looking very green and healthy and goes a long way to detering moss growth. Being in Devon, I have to augment the Winter Green with applications of Ferrous Sulphate at times to really get on top of the moss, but it is very effective stuff.”
