“4 stars because it is great but a flow rate is not stated and Green deflector nozzle is not shown on matabi guide - and so I had to fill er up and work it out myself. Bit of a pain but easy enough I suppose”

“Great buy but having used it I cant really see the difference between it and the other Agro pros out there and so a bit annoyed I paid *** for this super model as Lawnsmith make a thing about comparing prices with like for like. Even *** website doesnt seem to discern a difference between this and the 20l version which is cheaper elsewhere. However it works very well is comfy but difficult to get on I found. The loose strap is very difficult to clip in place when it is full up so I just connect it first. Be warned if using a green deflector nozzle you really have to pump quick and if youve never done it before it really makes your arm ache! I have tried swapping it around so the handle is on the right but then you get the flat face against your back so it is uncomfortable which is a bit of a shame as my right arm can pump quite happily without aching ***. It states in the manual that it is reversible but this is hardly the case as only one side is curved. The regulator is an excellent idea and works well although using the 5bar end takes a lot of pumping!!All in all this is brilliant for spraying large areas but it does take a bit of calculating to get the right amount of water but Im getting the hang of it. Incidentally with kit this expensive and given that Matabi state flow rates for nozzles quite clearly on their site - I would assume that we can be quite sure they will spray at the rate stated without having to mess around doing a dummy run. Otherwise what is the point in stating flow rates? It would be both pointless and mean they fall foul of not fit for purpose if the rates are significantly different. Tip for you play music at 120bpm and walk so that you keep up with the beat but only step 50cm (put out a tape measure and practise a few times - you soon get the pace). This gives you 1 metre per second or 3.6km hr. Good selection of nozzles just a shame you have to remove the chrome piece and replace with plastic! The difference between the fan and the low drift fan is beyond me as they look identical. Colours dont seem to match the current *** guide to flow rates so a bit confusing but I havent had to use the odd coloured ones yet. Overall very satisfied but the few down sides I have mentioned bring me to 4 stars.”
