The principals of operation are the same and they do the same job but this latest model has an improved warranty to 3 years and sturdier construction.MaintenanceFertiliser, being a salt, is highly corrosive so all spreaders should be thoroughly hosed out after use, air dried completely and all exposedmeal parts sprayed and/or wiped with a light oil such as WD40 or a silicone spray.
