Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Waste of money. Returned for refund. Very thin neoprene. The boots don’t even stand up by themselves but flop over. Doubt will stand any wear at all. Not what you expect for £200 Wellington boots.”

The Rubber will never be as soft as it is when you first receive them, due to it being a natural product that will harden over time. The natural rubber has a high elasticity but is extremely durable and waterproof. I can see that your Wellington Boots have now been returned to us, and you have been issued a Full Refund. “I’m quite disappointed with the boots to be honest with you as it says in the description that they are wide fitting on the leg and they are not I only got them for that reason so feel as if I’ve wasted my money on them as I have a pair of Barbour boots already which are also quite tight on the leg. If I hadn’t of walked around the garden in them to see how they felt I would have sent them back. £200 wasted”

“As someone who usually needs a wide fit I chose these boots and have not been disappointed. The most comfortable wellingtons I have ever worn. within the first week of having them I have already covered at least 20miles and every step has been as comfortable as the next!”
