Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Wellies are good quality and a lot of tread on soles, but I had to return them as my wife found them very tight on the ankles making them too tight to take off without a struggle.”

“Nice boots. Le Chameau are the only wellies to never give me a blister. EVER. I've been a Le Chameau customer for 16 years and always very happy. These boots however seem to have a new cut, they're much baggier around the ankle than others I've had. Definitely not as flattering as the old style women's cut and a bit distracting when I walk to be honest. I hope they don't split on the folds around the ankle as many looser fit wellies can do. Time will tell. They have a nice snug calf fit and the rubber is so soft they not only fit snug to leg with tights on with a skirt but also accommodate jeans and thicker socks too. Delivery would have been next day but Parcel force couldn't find us. So delivery took 4 days. But even so, that's pretty good for free delivery.”

“I have been wearing Le Chameau wellington boots for many years and find them the most comfortable footwear for long daily dog walks. I have just taken delivery of a new pair and they are even more comfortable than my previous boots and the new colour green is a huge improvement on the old green. Love them!”
