Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“I have wide but small feet and larger calves. Finding rubber boots to fit has always been a challenge, and in the past I could not get knee-high ones. I like to walk in a swampy area on my property, and needed really high boots. These have been fantastic! Comfortable to walk in for an hour over rough terrain, and with good support for the foot. Solved my problem! I do need to roll them down half-way to get them off, as they are quite snug on my calves. If a wider-calf version is ever made, I would buy it for sure!”
