Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“The boots look nice and overall it’s a good product. However it is not worth its premium price. When I compare them with other, cheaper rain boots, I cannot see a big difference in quality. The little buckle is made of plastic, why not investing a little more to use metal which would feel more premium. The inner linen is just a very thin layer of fabric glued to the rubber layer.”

I am sorry to hear you weren't totally satisfied with your purchase, the clips on our Vierzon and Vierzonord boots are plastic to ensure under any high level of stress they break off, this is to ensure the rubber is not ripped when the strap is caught on anything and we supply replacement's free of charge. “I’m in love with my new boots. Since chemo 3 years ago left my feet super sensitive, I’ve struggled to find comfy wellies. These are super comfortable, they support my feet and are lovely and warm in the colder weather. Thank you!”
