Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Tricky to give a star rating really, as value for money/quality deserves a 1 star, as the sole blooming cracked & got a soaking wet foot..... however the customer service team, Zoe in particular has been absolutely superb, so helpful & efficient, sent a speedy replacement, no questions asked (really) had to go through lengthy 'protocol' of sending photos, which took way longer than the replacement arriving! Absolutely faultless service. Zoe is a real credit to the company.”

“really love these boots in all ways except for how hard it is to get them off, especially if my feet have sweat a little. I have a slightly high instep and it's a little painful to yank them off after a day working outside. I do wish I had gotten the full zip style, but how was I to know! That aside, they are fabulous and I do love how snug they are while I'm wearing them. I landscape for a living and I appreciate nothing getting in the tops of them and feeling fully covered. I'm a size 9/9.5 usually, but I'm so happy with the 41 because my heel doesn't slide and I feel fully snugged in.”

“The most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn . The rubber is soft and the boot is lined with a gorgeous fabric , good strong soles that make walking over stones dirt and grass so effortless. They fit to perfection , tapered to the leg with an adjustment buckle . The rubber is not rigid but strong enough to last and make movement easy . I could wear these everyday forever . I’m a size 9.5 USA , 7.5 uk and 41 is perfection . These boots will now always be part of my wardrobe .”

“I would have enjoyed wearing these in my active lifestyle... if only they'd fit around my rock-hard calf muscles. I measured accordingly before placing my order and all that jazz, it isn't my first rodeo. Thankfully the return was easy; though I am MIFFED that the only options were 'return & sorry about your luck'.”
