Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“The boot looks great. It arrived well-packaged and on time. I specifically ordered this boot as it has calve adjustment and I have slender ankles and calves. These are the first wellies in years that fit. If you have larger calves I would advise emailing first as the staff are super helpful. I would also note that the soles are extremely comfortable over uneven ground. Some have suggested the rubber is thinner than before- I can not comment as these are my first pair, but they are soft and somewhat malleable compared to other brands but I found this to add to the comfort.”

“These boots are simply the best!! My last pair lasted me 9 years but eventually needed to be replaced, and it is wonderful to have a brand new pair again. Very comfortable and great for walking the dog in etc.”

“As always the quality is good but this time the fitting is not. My wife cannot get har foot past the ankle of the boot. She is a size 8 and wears Chameau wellingtons but these do not fit. I have returned and will have to try a different brand that does have a wider ankle.”

“The boot is a high quality produkt, but the foot was to small for my whife. She wheres Chameau boots for a very long time and will now visit Chameau dealer and try boots until they fit. erik Nacken”
