Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How do your boots fit?

How comfortable are your boots?

“Awful , sticky linings and extremely narrow ankles making these boots hard to get on . I presume they will be equally hard to get off , never found out as I couldn’t get them on. Customer support suggested I spend another £90 on a different style,I declined and bought Hunter boots and saved £205 !”

hi Sylvia, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, I can only apologise you were not satisfied with the boots you ordered and struggled with the fitment of our Vierzonord boots. As these boots are a standard calf fitment they are not always suitable for everyone and this would have been why my Colleague would have recommended looking into our Chasseur boots, as they come in a variety of calf sizes.
