Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I thought they would be roomy so ordered my usual shoe size but they?re a little tight and I wouldn?t be able to wear socks with them! They have to be returned. Disappointed having waited so long.”

“These are exceptional wellies. Stylish and well fitted. Although they aren't as easy to get on and off as my trusty Iris boots were. I'm sure I'll cope though! Might need to keep these for winter and buy a pair of Iris for summer”
