Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Purchaced for my better half as a christmas present as her current wellies had failed miserably. (Going out with a plastic bag inside your boots is not acceptable !!). She just loved them as soon as she opened the box.!! She is a regular welly wearer and i got 1/2 size bigger to allow for thick \ double socks but otherwise her regular size would of been perfect. So far all her horsey friends love them too and comment immedietly Loads of grippy tread on the sole and she instantly saw they were insulated \ lined. Hope they last as long as some reviews say ! Paul”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback, I can only apologise that you have found these boots weren't suitable with your instep. We do advise customers to try our Chasseur boots if they have this issue, the full length zip allows for extra room in the ankle are when trying to put the boots on. How comfortable are your boots?

“I am a dog trainer, own a farm and kennel, and love to walk. After going through other Wellingtons at the rate of about 1 pair per year (wearing straight through the bottoms) I found theses boots approximately 8-10 years ago. I finally had to replace them this year, and am just as thrilled as ever with my new pair! They are worth every penny!”
