Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Boot fit perfectly on foot & calf but ankle was so tight I couldn’t get it off! Seems really mismatched in proportions. Shame as it’s a lovely well made boot.”

“Excellent wellies. Very comfy. Came next day. Excellent service. I guess you get what you pay for as they're pretty expensive - but I am glad I made the investment. Hopefully they'll last me a few seasons.”

How comfortable are your boots?

“Hello We received mine and the wife's wellies but the wife's tight on calf but we now going to get the men's size 7 instead which we didn't realise at the time that the men's size 7 is bigger round the calf but are both happy with comfort and quality and hope they withstand our outdoor activities which is why we gone for the best and no more wet feet Thank you for good customer service Phil n Helen Lancashire”
