Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Great boot, really wishes it felt better to walk in. Having a larger calf size meant there was excess space just above the heel, resulting in my heel lifting about an inch with every step. The larger calf fitting would benefit from tapering down to the ankle more tightly to fit. Such a shame as I really liked the boot.”
