Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review - I am sorry to hear you have found these Wellington's to be too large allowing the 2cm. We advise measuring on bare skin and adding this extra 2cm for any trousers and socks you may like to wear inside of the boots. We do this as wearing boots that are too tight can restrict blood flow, causing issues such as cold feet and so having a little extra room helps prevent this.
