Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“I was really disappointed with these boots. They look awful when worn because the material crinkles and wrinkles all over, especially around the ankles and calves. On top of that, they don't stay up properly and keep slipping down, which makes them uncomfortable and impractical. Definitely not worth the money—avoid these if you’re looking for durable and stylish wellies!”

“I always used to buy Hunters leather soled with metal studs. They have losed their quality several years ago , Le Chameau are by far the best boot available in todays market, and I have been using boots for over 56 years ! Regards, A.P.Henryson-Caird.
