Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“I tried on about 9 or 10 different brands over last couple of weeks, with no luck either didn't like style or fitting. Nevercthoughtci would spend this,amount on boots, my most expensive purchase on footwear, but they really are lovely. I phoned sales,department as,wasn't sure on sizing and I was,advised to get a man's boot as,slightly wider on calf. I do need a thick sock with them but they are lovely. Haven't worn them yet but hopefully it will rain soon and I can wear them, hope they last me a while!”
