Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have had Le Chameau wellingtons for over 25 years. This pair I am dissapointed in as they are bog and floppy and therefore I rarely wear them for fear of sores and blisters. I do not believe in wearing shoes in, they fit or they don't, I just hadn't realised how different the sizing seems to be. Totally my error, I sould have sent them back, instead now I have a pair of boots I have only mucked the stables out with once!!”

“Still early days but the boots are comfortable and look hard wearing. I will get plenty of chance to try them in muddy conditions this winter.”
