Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Tip - don't buy boots on-line. I ordered a 43, which is my size and the length is fine, BUT the ankles and calves - even with the straps done to the tightest they will go - are baggy and loose. This makes walking really difficult. I tried to exchange them but as I had worn them I was told I couldn't. I had high hopes - Le Chameau were recommended by a colleague - but sadly these boots were an expensive mistake. And I'm stuck with them despite the discomfort.”

Hi Philip, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I can only apologise that the boots you ordered were not a suitable fitment for yourself. I can see from your conversation with my colleague Marco he has explained to you that we are unable to accept items that have been worn outside and can only cover issues under warranty that are issues related to a defect in the manufacture of the product. As this is a fitment related issue and not that of any error in production we are unable to issue a credit to you under warranty.
