Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“These boots lasted me "11 months" however they honestly lasted 8 months because I didn't wear them through the summer. They split across both soles and leaked water. I reported this to customer services who claimed they had never seen this fault before however social media reviews say otherwise. Customer services were the most difficult I have ever had to deal with from a company. Eventually after a huge battle with the company of me asking for a refund within my 2 year warranty, I received an email for an order of them sending me new boots. I have very little faith this pair will last. Don't bother spending your money with this company, I wanted a REFUND to get AIGLE instead after lots of friends and social media reccomendations for AIGLE boots.”

I am sorry to hear that the boots did not live up to your expectations and I can only apologise it took longer than you expected to resolve this for you. In order for us to proceed with any form of refund or replacement under warranty we do need to see that the boots cannot find their way back into our warranty system and so my Colleague Zoe did follow our steps to try to resolve this for you as swiftly as we could.
