Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have very inflexible ankles due to an old injury and have always struggled with Wellington boots. The zips in the side make life so much easier. The fitting guide using existing shoe sized to compare made fitting easy online. Very comfortable and well made boots that fit me perfectly and are easy to get on & off.”

“I used to use the women’s wool lined boots but they are sadly no longer available, so l have just bought the men’s one. They feel slightly harder to walk on but otherwise lovely and warm. Don’t stop making these! Warmest wellies ever”
