Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Lovely boots, but...... I am size 4, so bought size 5 after reading reviews. It was still very difficult to put on at the heel. It takes quite a few minutes to wiggle my feet in. I am hoping that the boots will soften and stretch in the 'back of the heel' area with time. My primary choice was the full length boot, but they were out of stock - but with my difficulty putting on the shorter length boots, maybe it was best that I couldn't purchase them.”

“I was bit apprehensive about buying these boots just because I already own the vierzonord wellies, but they are hands down the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned! I actually can?t stop wearing them because they're a lot more versatile than my wellies which I keep for particularly grubby weather. I sized up just to make sure I can wear extra thick socks on chilly days. Huge fan! My other half just wishes you did a men's version now!!!”
