Handcrafted by Le Chameau, now in nine delightful colours, the Iris is our lightest, most colourful wellington boot to date. Inspired by the natural world around us, the Iris gets its name from the Greek goddess of Rainbows. Made from our famous Chamolux rubber, this durable material provides the wearer with a flexible rubber wellington boot that can withstand the elements making it 100% waterproof. A lightweight single density sole provides sure-footed traction and supreme comfort all day long. Lined in our signature poly-cotton jersey which helps to wick moisture away from the feet keeping them dry. The high levels of breathability make these wellington boots perfect for warmer months, and transitions well into colder weather. The Iris is a distinctive Le Chameau rubber boot with a colourful twist, inspired by nature.

How comfortable are your boots?
I love my new boots, my only comment would be that my previous pair (which were ancient) came up bigger, these are just right in the fit but if you want to wear big welly socks you might want to go up a size.

My heels slip in these. They are supposedly the same as my last pair - yet don’t behave the same. Wretchedly frustrating.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your Iris boots, I am sorry to hear they do not fit as well as your previous pair. If these boots remain unworn, please do feel free to use our free returns service in order to send these back to us for a full refund. If you are able to offer any more information on the differences between your initial pair and these then we would really appreciate any details you can offer. Thanks, Laura

I have owned several pairs of these boots. In my opinion they are the best and last for years. I wouldn't buy anything else. Super fast delivery too

The boots are fantastic but dpd the delivery company was dreadful...lied 5x times that they attempted to deliver the boots had to ring them around 10 times and eventually had to speak to the manager...absolutely disgraceful conduct from a multi national company...7 days late!!!I ended up buying the boots again from chelford farm supplies as they were a birthday present!!won't be ordering again if they continue to use dpd!!!boots are fantastic though!!!

I have not worn them yet, consequently I cannot leave a full review, although on the large side I feel they will be okay with thick socks.

I feel I made a mistake buying the boots that were on offer (and therefore affordable). They are really not very comfortable. They fit, just about, but are verging too tight for my bunion (not normally a problem with wellies). The real issue is the complete lack of support in the sole - utterly flat, no arch support at all. And the sole feels very thin, in that I can feel it if I tread on a pointy rock. Whilst I will continue to wear them on short dog walks, I wouldn't wear them on longer walks and definitely wouldn't buy another pair. I wouldn't buy online again, as with my dogy feet, I have learned how important it is to try boots on.
