Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I went up half a size from 8-8.5 and when tried on they fitted well and very comfy straight out the box. Had a slight mix up with delivery (no fault of Le Chameau) but customer services couldn't have been more helpful , reassuring and professional . The price may seem high to some but these boots show true quality. I still have a pair of Le Chameau walking boots that I was made a present of some 27 years ago and I still use them today and they are still waterproof and intact which is a good recommendation for the quality and workmanship of this company.”

“Amazing, beautiful, fit well. Catches the eyes of others passing stand out many have commented on the luxuriousness style and stiching so comfy to wear so proud to wear them. Expensive but worth every penny. I love them. I found them on google just by chance having spotted a guy wearing them in the Lake District. Thanks ARH”

“Beautifully crafted and vested in robust materials to endure any walk about. It catches the eyes on the street as it is exquisite and appears posh enough for any particular occasion. Super comfy and easy to clean too. Lighter than Dubarry and Hunters and full of life too. I would certainly recommend this to any gentleman who is willing to spend a bit more on a fine foot item. Trust me, you will stand out in the best way possible.”

“Good morning. i have worn the boot on a full shoot, if had not had worn them i would have sent them back i am sorry to say. i wear Le Chameaus green boots these are amazing? i also wear standard calf size Dubarrys boots. The Leather boots are very tight around the leg and have not stretched after wearing them for a day, i do not have big calfs and alway buy Dubarry in standrad size also the back of the lower calf where the shoe part of the boot meets the boot has not softened causing pain blistering to my leg where the boot cresses as you walk, if you can help in the matter i would be much appreciated”

We would advise that you try any Boot on inside first to make sure that they are the correct fit and are comfortable. Unfortunately, as these have been worn outside you will not be able to send them back as Return but they might give a little more after a few more wears. “I went to significant lengths to ensure that the boots I ordered would be the right size - I sought advice regarding the boot size from a different manufacturer that I already wear and measured myself in line with the size charts given. When the boots arrived they were way too small. I contacted customer “service” and spoke to them at length and it was agreed that I should return them for the next size up - that I duly did. Now been told next size up is out of stock (why was this not even mentioned during my cal??) and I have been refunded. No discussion and no debate. Obviously my £300 is of no interest to you..”

Unfortunately, by the time your Return arrived back at our Warehouse, the item had sold out and so we were unable to perform the exchange for the required size.
