Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“They are difficult to put on as they are quite floppy but reasonably comfortable when on. Not mad on pink but it’s all that was abailable”

The Iris boots are designed to be as lightweight as possible; they are made from the same Chamolux rubber we produce all of our wellingtons with. This durable material provides the wearer with a flexible rubber wellington boot which helps with comfort and wearability.
