Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“Bought these to replace some expensive but very comfortable ankle boots of another make, that had disappointingly only lasted 18 months of moderate wear. Pleased as they were affordable in the sale and true to size, with a 2 year guarantee. Used for dog walking and comfortable on a longer distance. Slightly flared at the top, but this allows jeans to be tucked inside. Narrow foot, fine for me but may be tight if you have wide feet and want to wear thick socks. Would have liked the colour to be more navy, it’s more of a pale royal blue. Feet stayed warm in cold weather. Time will tell with regards to longevity, but at least you have the guarantee :)”

“These are exactly what I wanted! Great price too with 50% off. Easy to keep by the back door to slip on/off to open gates, pop into the garden, go on short walks etc. They are far wider at the top than my other Le Chameau boots so can put on them on/take off in a flash. Love them!”
