About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“La qualité et le fini intérieur sont trés corrects . Je n' ai pas encore pu évaluer et apprécier leurs qualités d'usure , laissez moi le temps !!! Quant au confort j'ai pris une pointure au dessus pour pouvoir mettre de bonnes chaussettes”

“Nice boots,love the colour. Unfortunately,I thought they were made in France as Le Chameau is a French company but….Not at all,they are made in Morocco. I found it out because of the tiny label inside the boot,not specified anywhere on the website . I won’t order from Le Chameau anymore. Compte-rendu du site,j’ai cru naïvement que ces bottes étaient fabriquées en France…Pas du tout,une minuscule étiquette à l’intérieur de la botte indique qu’elle est fabriquée au Maroc…Transport,écologie,économie…. Je ne ferai plus de commande chez Le Chameau”
