Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“There are few things more annoying than wearing the wrong socks with wellingtons. I haven't been able to try them out yet but the areas of different knit stitches bode well. I try to find wool walking socks as a rule but as I have small feet I usually have problems. Le Chameau's ladies socks come in size 35-38 and I am impressed with the fit and level of comfort. Like the colour too.”
