Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“You need to resize for women and put some stretchy material in with the wool so that the socks fit to foot and leg. Really don't like the idea of buying 'shooting socks' when I don't agree with hunting. You need to rename socks to appeal to people who just want some long socks to wear with their wellies.”

Good Afternoon, thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. The Socks have a large roll over section at the top which is perfect for Wellington Boots - the official definition for this style of sock is a 'Shooting Sock' but it is nothing to do with what they are used for. “Soft and thick, these socks perfectly match my Wellies. Just came back from a 3 hours walk in the mud, with 0 degrees outside. Not once I felt cold in my feet or calves. Good one!”
