About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“liners, material and colour were good, when I tried them I found the foot to fit, but the leg part was far too long for my Le-chameau wellingtons, I had to fold the top over far too much, if I didn't the leg part went under my foot and made them impossible to wear.”

“This is a replacement pair for the originals which wore out at the heel. I suspect there are very much cheaper alternatives.”
