Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“My dogs are not big, but love to stretch out and so these dogs are perfect for them. I have a puppy who has an inclination to chew beds - but to date - and fingers crossed - she has decided that this is the bed to lie and relax in and is treating it with respect!”

“Very pleased with this dog bed. It is well made, sturdy and my dogs (working cocker spaniels) find it very comfortable. I have another well-made bed supplied by another prestigious retailer and they are currently both snuggled up in the Le Chameau bed whilst the other one is empty!”

“Bruce has really taken to his new bed. Big, strong and comfortable. I was slightly worried that due to his weight and size it would not be suitable but that is now a distant memory.”

“I hunted for ages for the perfect bed and so glad I found Le Chameau. It looks great and our dog doesn’t want to get out of it! We got a large and it fits our Hungarian Viszla perfectly (he weighs about 27 kilos)”
