Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I cannot pull these on they are so tight. Thin ankles and feet too! Otherwise fine and lovely. Unless I hear of a suggestion to help I will have to return. Once foot is in they are perfect. Opening should be wider/stretched?”

Whilst the Nubuck of these boots will soften over time we would not advise keeping the boots if they are not a suitable fitment for yourself to get on as we cannot advise if this softening will be enough to help.
