Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I really wanted to love these boots, they look great and I trust the brand (I've have had a pair of tall Le Chameau for years). Also, I really like the fact that they offer a EU size 40 - UK 6.5, unlike other British brands. However, I was really surprised when I went to try them on and the left boot was bigger than the right. At first I thought it was my feet so I asked my daughter (same shoe size) to put them on and she had exactly the same issue. I was very sad to have to return them, I'm sure it's a manufacturing error but I just can't wear them like this.”

“Comfy, i like how the water and dirt runs off it, pretty much lean by the time i get back with my dogs from a muddy walk outside the village. Feels a tiny bit narrow, should do wide fit separate really. But still happy with it.”
