Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“not true to size. 36 is NOT an english 3, nor an american 51/2. what a pain to have to repackage and return because you werent honest with your sizes”

“Lovely boots, very nice fit. I’m a 6.5 but probably could have gone up to a 7 to wear thicker socks with them.”

“My boots are warm comfortable easy to put on and grip very well in muddy conditions. i have bought them for many years and they last for many years too!”

“As cheap wellies only last me about 6 weeks before splitting I thought I'd try these as Le Chameau have a good repartition. The rubber is very soft and comfortable and they are warm. I have only had them a week, so far so good.”

“Excellent boots, wearing them feels like walking on air! Light and comfortable and easy to take off. Outings with my dog in soggy and muddy parklands are now that much more enjoyable. I ordered the boots in my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly.”

“Beautiful boots,just what I wanted,but,with regrets I had to return it as it was not wide enough on the foot and hurt me,if only it had a slightly wider fitting it would have been perfect,would the equivalent in men be wider?”
