About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Appalling lack of any customer service regarding a return Boot sent were way too big due to their incorrect conversion charts. I have been waiting days for a Return label.”

“My wife and I are Le Chameau converts (from Hunter! - whose boot compound has become very brittle and their boots don't last!). I have three pairs - well, two until my birthday next week, but then three, and this will be my wife's second pair - also a birthday present five days ahead of mine. We love the flexibility and durability of a really comfortable, smart, boot. We are buying each other the short -easy-on wellies for gardening, dog walking and strolling on the beach (in winter!)”
