Our Giverny low has been reworked to offer the most comfortable fit. This country walking rubber boot features an aesthetic strap to add a touch of style for everyday use. This wellington boot is made of natural rubber upper and hard-wearing polycotton jersey lining. Shock absorbing dual density Cross sole with all-terrain grip.

Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“In short, these are beautiful boots. I love the jersey lining, I love the color, and the 'stylish' look paired with durability. The leather felt sticky to me at first, but I realized that it is because of its suppleness and simply being 'new'. After two different sizings (great return/exchange policy), these unfortunately could not be the dream boot for me. I'm typically a size 7.5 in other boot brands, but even pairing down to a 6.5 they could not fit, and when I ordered there were no more size 6 available. I do have a narrow foot, but what was overwhelmingly large was the top of the boot (circumference). I could honestly fit two of my calves into one of the boots there was so much space between my foot and the calf of the boot! If you are on the petite side of the sizing spectrum, I would advise giving them a try because they have such a great return/exchange policy but expect that they will be a bit floppy at the top. If it was not for the high quality of the product, I would give this a one star. I would love to own a pair as they seem durable and long-lasting, but after two returns decided that they are not made for petite fits. If ever they come out with a new product line - or even kids sizes that are made to fit small adults, I will certainly give Le Chameau another go - please come out with more sizing options in these short botillon varieties because they are otherwise perfect! They seem like both a worker's boot that can be used in the gardens - and then in the city!”

“I love the color (marine) and the boots are comfortable. I am very small boned so there is a large gap at the top so am a bit concerned about rain and mud getting into the boot.”
