Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“I've never bought this brand before. I wanted a supportive lightweight welly for dog walking and gardening. So far, they have been great. I've probably done about 15 walks since they arrived and I've found them comfortable from day one. They are quite tricky to pull off but I can live with that as they are so comfortable. I ordered a size 6 and a 6.5 in case I needed to allow for walking socks and went with the 6 which fitted better. I am usually a size 6.”

How comfortable are your boots?

“Nice boots that look smart and are comfortable for longer walks. They are easy to get on but slightly harder to get off as the heels are not as rigid as classic wellington boots. The length is just right for walking and they are water-proof so good for muddy walks with puddles. The soles provide a good level of grip. Very happy with my purchase.”
