Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Amazing delivery, the wellies are a perfect fit (normally size 4 but sized up to a 5 so I can wear thick socks with them) they are lovely quality and a great price. Very pleased! Also, they fit comfortably around my calves (I purchased the shorter wellies as my legs are quite big). Highly recommend!”

“Very impressed with boots (short) , quality materials and true to size, my one criticism would be the footbed is very hard so for my ?dainties ? I have put in an insole....ironically it hasn?t rained since I got them so can?t say much more re their efficacy.”

“Loved the boots! But they were too large. I take an 8.5 and you don?t have half sizes, so I ordered a 9. I?m giving them to my daughter, whom they fit, and ordering an 8 for me. (Hope the 8?s fit)”
