Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“I love the Giverny boot. This is my second pair and I can’t see me changing now. They are light and comfortable and do not leak. I’ve walked though flood water in them and my feet stayed dry. I wear them all day every day as a dog Walker and they are the best boot I’ve tried. I’ve had a few brands now but they don’t last. My last pair gave me two years and only deteriorated because of the way I was lazily taking them off. I damaged the the heal. The tread was still perfect.”

“I’m US 7 which is the equivalent of an EU 37. At Le Chameau, they call this a US 6 or 6.5 and EU 37. Had to order a few pairs to get it right. They are well made and comfortable. Customer service was friendly & responsive. Their system provides easy tracking for returns. Kept the tall boots & returned the shorter ones because of the huge gap in the mid calf area on the shorter length.”
