“I really struggle finding footwear that don?t cause blisters, these wellies are amazing and I have had no rubbing/blisters. I would highly recommend, they're flexible around the calf and the top of the foot however probably not suitable if you need additional calf room. The sole is sturdy with a lot of grip for walking. They are true to size, would maybe go up a size if you want to wear a thick sock.”

“I ordered the same boot in 2 different sizes because I wasn't sure where I would be size-wise. I was told by Le Chameau that they were true to size, but then I read several reviews that they ran on the bigger end. Well, Le Chameau was right. Please order your normal size. There is enough room for your jeans and thicker socks, and it also feels just right without socks. Will return the other boot and their return procedures are easy and free =) As for the boot height, I am a petite person and the 38cm height was just the right height for my legs. I tried the Vierzonords and they were way too tall for me. I wish Le Chameau would make a 38cm version of the Vs (2 cm does make a difference, and the Vs were such a great boot to be in), but I am nonetheless extremely happy with my Giverny.”

“I went up a size based on previous reviews (& my usual size 7 had sold out). I am so happy I did as the boots fit perfectly with or without thick liners. I have narrow feet and calves and these are a great fit. They are very comfortable to walk in and easy to get on and off.”
