Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Women's boots are small at the calf - be aware. I can't tuck jeans in or wear thick socks. Wish I had gone for the ones with side gusset now. If I had got bigger size my foot would have slipped up and down. They are lightweight which is good for walking,. Nice colour range- I got maroon. Difficult to get off - needs a boot jack.”

“The length of the boot is acceptable but the width is too narrow at the ball of my foot. Over the past 10 years, I have had to typically order 11W but since Le Chameau didn't go larger than 10 I thought I would take a chance. The length seems fine, just too narrow.”
