Created in 1950, the Saint-Hubert leather lined wellington boot combines Le Chameau savoir-faire with premium leather and our secret recipe natural rubber. As with all Le Chameau rubber boots the Saint-Hubert is handcrafted by a single master bootmaker using the same techniques passed on from generation to generation. About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“The boots are different sizes. Customer service rubbish. Returned the boots with no explanation to me. Spent over �0 and got different sizes and they won?t replace them. Left boot is taller than the right and bigger in the foot. Expensive bad workmanship”

“I purchase a similar product 10 years ago and they served me well. Hence the reason for replacing my leather lined boots with the top of the range. Whilst they may appear to be initially expensive, in the long run I have no doubt the investment will pay dividends.”
