Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Excellent boots. I?d looked at these a few times really liking the shape of them and could resist the bargain price, I can?t really see much wrong with them to be classed as imperfect. They look really good on, I?m 5ft3 but found the height of them fine, they come up slightly higher than the style I?ve previously had but not uncomfortably so. Really looking forward to wearing them.”

“The fit around the top of the boot was a little snug. I have a very slender calf but these boots will not work if I have to tuck my jeans inside.”

“I have not yet had the opportunity to use the boots yet as they arrived in the middle of a heatwave, but just from trying them on, they feel comfortable, have a sturdy grip, and the leather lining is impressively soft. I am looking forward to using them when the weather changes.”
