Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Unfortunately these were just too small in the calf for me - an easier to find calf sizing chart may have been some use as I'd have just ordered mens ones straight away. Extremely comfortable when I tried them on, though the softness of the sides takes some getting used to!”

“Great looking boots and any imperfections were very minor (the small hole to mark as imperfect was well hidden at the top of the boot). Unfortunately, they weren't a good fit so had to return.”

“Would buy again. Bought 2 pairs, one for my mum. There was nothing wrong with them except 2 small holes on the surface but they will not leak as there is 2 layers of rubber. I will buy imperfect again if they come up. Could have done with a 5.5 but they dont offer this option”
