Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

How comfortable are your boots?

“Boots arrived fairly quickly and were packed well. The boots themselves are water tight but, as was made clear, they are imperfect. I have some blobs of plastic on the inside but nothing from the mid shin down. It's like getting a le creuset pot from a cousin who bought it at tk maxx; not ideal but cheap. I paid £90 for my pair and I feel that was a bit much but it was worth taking a punt, they do keep the water out!”
