Also, the speed limit for "normal D mode" never works. i set it to FF, however, it only allows me to speed up to 12mph no matter i set to 20 , 25 or FF. so whats the point of having that speed limit?
battery only able to go for like 7 miles for "normal D mode" without going uphill, i weigh 140lbs and i expect a better range as advertised.
Else, its a solid scooter, i like it, but the three points above is already enough for me not recommending it to friends and family. :(”
“I’ve only had my Levy scooter for one week. Initially, I ordered tubeless tires, but unfortunately the website refreshed and I didn’t realize my selection of tubeless tires had changed to regular tubed when placing the order.
After receiving the scooter and riding for just three days, I got a flat tire. So, I took the scooter to the store here in NYC and they were very helpful. They not only replaced both my tubed tires with tubeless. They also gave me some great tips on how to maximize the battery life and mileage.
Since getting the scooter back, I’m loving it. I’m getting around 8 miles on a fully charged battery, but I’m also 6’2, 190lbs. My wife rides on the scooter sometimes, she not only goes faster but also gets more miles. I would definitely recommend the Levy scooter, especially if you’re a New Yorker. Overall, as good as anything you’ll find out there for the price. And my customer service experience was very good.”
