“The table is intrinsically of good quality and what I expected at the price. 3 points for quality control. The instructions were in French. We tend to speak English on this side of the English Channel (that's La Manche to the manufacturers). The retaining screw nuts for the cross pieces to reinforce the legs could only be inserted in the pre-drilled holes with the aid of a hammer. There were two small scratch marks on the green playing surface. Having heaved the table up two flights of stairs and being otherwise very satisfied with the performance on rigorous testing, we decided to put up with these imperfections.”
